Designing Your Car Wrap
We’ll begin the process with a site survey with one of our installation specialists to get all the measurements and details about your car recorded. From there, you’ll tag up with one of our designers to either create a custom design for your car wrap or to mockup your provided design elements for incorporating onto the vehicle. Once a proof is created, we’ll send it your way for approval. It may take a couple rounds until everything is just as you would like, but once you fall in love with your car wrap design, it’s time to bring it to life!
Installing Your Car Wrap
We will typically need your vehicle for about two days, depending on the complexity of car wrap and the car’s shape. We are available to work with your schedule and can work with special circumstances, just let us know what you need!
When bringing your car to us to install your car wrap, you’ll want to make sure you have it cleaned 24 hours before dropping it off. This allows the water to dry in all the cracks — ensuring that the adhesive vinyl will stick to all parts of your car. We use 3M Envision car wrap, which provides the smoothest application and long-lasting durability, but it requires dry conditions to get the best results. Your vehicle must also have a proper paint finish and be clean of rust or corrosion.
Maintaining Your Car Wrap
While our car wraps are extremely durable, there are a few key things to remember to do in order to make sure your wrap design stays in the best condition possible.
When washing your car, we advise never to use an automated wash with heavy-duty brushes on your vehicle wrap. We also suggest avoiding pressure washing your car, but if you decide to do so, be sure to wash from front to back. Keep the pressure washer wand at a constant angle — never getting closer than two feet from the surface. The best way to ensure your wrap does not become victim to damage is to hand wash and wax your vehicle.
When parking your vehicle for extended periods of time or frequently in the same place, rotate your vehicle. It is essential to keep your vehicle from being exposed to the sun more on one side than the other as this leads to uneven fading in the long run.
